What happened to KDWN Las Vegas? ›

KDWN broadcast, along with KXST, ceased operations on March 1, 2023. The station's previous programming and branding continues to be heard on K268CS and KMXB-HD3.

At the end of the season-five finale, Delinda becomes overwhelmed with pain after just learning that Montecito owner A.J. Cooper is alive; he was supposedly killed in a plane crash. Delinda begins bleeding, although the series ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the fate of her unborn baby unknown.

Death and aftermath

On September 17, 1998, Binion was found dead on a small mattress on the floor of his Las Vegas estate home at 2408 Palomino Lane, near Rancho Drive and Charleston Boulevard.

In August 2019, Oyo Hotels & Homes partnered with New York-based investment and management company Highgate to purchase the property for $135 million. They announced plans to rename it as Oyo Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, while retaining the Hooters restaurant.

The site of Planet Hollywood was previously occupied by the Aladdin, an Arabian-themed hotel and casino which operated until 1997. Real estate developer Jack Sommer demolished the Aladdin in 1998 to make way for a new version, with London Clubs International as his partner.
